Road Trip ?

I am looking to do a road trip for grouse and quail in Nebraska or someplace next to my state of South Dakota. Anybody have any ideas or good spots my two dogs and I would love to hear it.
Thanks

Nulle, The sharptail grouse (prairie chickens) are along the east edge of the sand hills. Find where they are coming into cornfields to feed and you should have it made. Most of the quail are in the far southeast corner of the state. There are some in other areas, but the main area is around Nebraska City.

Thanks and better get my dogs used to wearing the boots for those darn sand hills if I remember right. I worked construction years back and went to North Platt in the winter when things were tooooooooo darn cold up North.

My road trips will be around Wisconsin chaseing grouse and woodcock in October. Will make an annual trip to Louisian for ducks and woodcock in December.

Fun hunting and I like eating them. You'd probably have to go east to Minn. to find any amount of them or better yet come to Wis. Have got room. Mid Oct. best.
