Components are coming back into stock

My local gun shop is starting to get powder, primers and bullets that have been on order for a long time. I bought some IMR4350 and was pleased to see most of the IMR powders were on the shelf. My guess is that production is starting to catch up with demand. The number of customers stocking up may be reaching a saturation point. Anyway, I hope we have turned the corner. Take care...

Stopped by two local gun shops this AM and saw the same thing. The primer section was finally full for a change.

Based on inventories of reloading components here in central Virginia I would agree except for primers. No one still has any CCI brand small pistol primers. Maybe you guys can send some my way.

dovehunter, The CCI situation should recover about Thanksgiving. I understand their military contract will be caught up by then.

I didn't realize Nancy Pelosi was capable of saying anything that wasn't stupid.

The shelves are still bare out here in tree huggin Ca. I think most of the like minded folks are still stocking up. There is a bill on the Arnolds desk to ban internet, ammo sales, panic is still on here. Wish we could split the state, right about Sacramento!

Noticing that things are getting back to normal also. Unless you are looking for pistol bullets. I have noticed that much like Gas the prices do not look like they use to though.

Boy you sure are right about the price of bullets! The cost of the hard cast lead handgun bullets has essentially doubled in price in my area over the last year. I have been planning for years now to taking up bullet casting. I may have to start doing it sooner than expected so I can afford to continue to shoot.

I was stunned to see about 50 boxes of 9mm sitting on the self at Dick's over the weekend. Was so stunned I didn't even buy any.

I drove some 50 extra miles yesterday to fort smith Ar. for some imr4350, unique and winchester brass. I was so happy I was beside myself. They still have a shortage of primers tho.
