Jon, any scope made for a centerfire rifle will do fine as a shotgun scope.
Exactly. Both of the Burris Fullfield II scopes I have on my shotguns are considered rifle scopes. They have several hundred rounds through each of them and they work just fine when I do my part. The only difference in scopes is between firearm/blackpowder scopes and airgun scopes. In fact, I use the same Burris scope on my slug guns, my Ruger 10/22, my Ruger Mini 30, and my T/C muzzleloader. They have all worked just fine even though Burris labels them as rifle scopes.
