How will this stupidity affect handloaders? With factory ammo prices stil in the silly/stupid range, I wouldn't be shooting today if I hadn't gotten set up to reload every caliber I shoot!
I was reading on another site where a guy from California stopped at a gun store in IIRC Yuma AZ and asked to buy some .38 Spl. Ammo. The store owner had a sign posted that AZ law prohibited sales of ammo to California residents. Well, not to my knowledge anyway. methinks the guy was telling the California that he did not want to sell to people from that state. He's probably afraid that if word got out, Los Angeles would be buying up all his supply or something.
I know of no law that sez tou can't buy ammo in a state you don't live it. Not yet anyway.
All I can say is Thank God I reload and have at least a decent supply of components. The only thing I don't have is the time to reload.
