Trophy XLT on a muzzle loader?

Can I use a 3-9x 40mm, Bushnell Trophy XLT on a muzzle loader?

I hear they are rated for pellett guns, and that's a funky recoil, so in 'theory' it should be able to handle a .50 muzzy, right?

I like the fully multi coated feature, and the eye relief.

Thanks, Jon

I have a Trophy on a slug gun and so far no problems. Then again I don't shoot by 10-15 rounds per year out of it.
