I considered the exposed dummy cameras and even a warning sign but... If the thief sees the camera, all they need to do is throw on a mask and you have a 8x10 of persons unknown. The only way to catch them is a good clear picture or set of pictures.
I would love to simply have the perps go away, but failing that I want to catch the SOBs. It is the old catch 34, just like a super padlock on the gate, they just cut the fence. I spent many years in security as a bond special agent for an insurance group. I required a super market to get a UL class E tool proof safe one time due to burglaries. The perps returned, blew it up and dropped the poured, reinforced concrete roof of the entire super market in the process. The owner was not happy. He still had a perfectly good safe and no business the next day. One of my success stories. ![]() Ed
