Newest addition, Huglu Bobwhite 20 ga sxs

I just picked up my newest addition to my shot gun collection. I have a hard time passing up a good deal. I picked up the little brother to the 12ga sxs I usually hunt with in the fall. Its a huglu bobwhite, for $400. Its spotless, only issue is its a little hard to open. I love my 12ga cant wait to get this one in the field its so light.

Don't worry, if it is hard to open that means it has not been used very much. Most of my double guns were hard to open when I first got them new, and with shooting they are now easy to open. Congrats on the find.

My CZ Bobwhite has a cased receiver and no sling swivels. I bought it for using steel shot where required. Have had the gun since CZ started importing them and have put lotsa rounds through it and not one problem. Also bought one in 28 ga. a month or two latter and same thing. Very good guns for the money.

Now that you have owned the "BOBWHITE" for 6 months, tell us about your experience.

Did it break-in as you expected and become easier to open?

Have you found anything negative about it?

How did it/you do during hunting season with it?

Are you still happy you bought it?

I think the shotgun has exceeded my expectations. It handles great, and was fun to pack during the fall Pheasant season. I have always packed a 12 gauge, I hunt behind a spirted 10 year old springer spaniel and the extra range is needed at times with him..lol The shotgun is getting easier to open, and I like the fit and finish, the wood is outstanding too.
