Hey Dan,

Do you have any idea how much Police Refurbs Glock 17 or Glock 22's in 9mm are going for in Colorado. My brother has an opportuinity to buy either a 17 or 22 for around $225. I think its a good deal.

Understand they upgraded from the 9 to 40. Its a state police thing and not in the shops. I'll tell him to go for it. Like you never been a fan. Handguns should be made out of iron.

Sheesh, CSP went to .40's years back...if these are just now being sold, I think I'd be double sure of what it is!

Yeah yeah right snow.... I am almost more likely to catch a chupacabra in my rabbit traps.

Dan,

Not the state troopers. It's one of the other state agencies that just upgraded. They are selling their old 9 mm Glocks to the investigators. Who knows how long these things take to move along.

Up here they melt them down rather than sell them to us low life's.

A few months ago during a bar fight a busted glass was thrown at someone. You guessed it it cut him and he bled to death. Read in the paper this morning that the use of glasses in bars will be restricted to certain hours otherwise it paper or plastic. WTF.

Skeet, We haven't only had no snow down in Southern WYO but we haven't even had a "freeze". Our evenings for the rest of the week are predicted in the 40s and I believe that. Not bad for 6700 ft elevation. I have to keep watering the yard because as long as it hasn't had a freeze the grass is still growing and needs the water. This will make it tough elk hunting.

Yep..gonna be 90 or better here today. and in tghe 70's 80's for the next 8 or 9 days. I have a friend on a horseback hunt for elk in the Thorofare for the next week or so. The blasted elk will be hiding in the black timber cept at night..oh fun and games. Saw a wolfie here at home early this morning. I was up and at 'em at 0 dark 30. He came gliding by and looked right at me. I was fixing the pickup for the irrigation water in the ditch. No more'n 25 yds. I think he might be the resident. I noticed that the doe that had 2 fawns this year..up till 8 days ago... is traveling all by herself. Critter ate almost all the cantelopes. I finally shot her in the A$$ with the 20 ga and 9's. She did leave then. We had one morning where there was ice on the old El Camino outside.. We have had a bit of snow onthe 12000 ft mountains..but it has melted already cept in the shade. There is a gun show coming up in Rawlins and if'n I can find who is doing it I may come down for it.
