the good news: CO bound !!
the bad news: Its in Oct and only to oversee some condo work. Have to have the carpet replaced and shop for some new furniture with the wifey
(oh joy !) not during hunting season not during fishing season not during SKI season...... WTH ???

10/2 - 10/9 week?
Probably wont deal with the hassle of bringing one with me on the plane. I'll see if the BIL in Denver will lend me one might just be a ray of hope after all ! mahalo

where do you hunt the blues ? I'm trying to weasel out of visiting the wifes sister in Denver. Would rather chase blues than see their new house !

the good :
watching a couple of guys get a fly fishing lesson on the Snake  the bad: watching a couple of guys get a fly fishing lesson on the Snake Looks like the lodgepoles continue to take a real hit from the beetles. Looks worse than when I was here in March/April. It was really bad west of here so we'll see what it looks like when we hit Vail valley later this week.

Snow !!
got some at 500 elevation above us last night. Just went for a walk in a bit of a blizzard, but the ground is still too warm for it to stick here at 9300 ft.
makes for some good photos ops, and makes the ski season seem closer
