Killed a Hog Last Evening

First saw this hog in 2007. Named him Osama bin Laden. Hunted that hog off and on for three years. Once had Osama cornered in a plum thicket about 15 yards away. Looked at that big snorting hog, looked at my Encore muzzleloader and left the area.

Fnally it all came together last evening. Shot him with my Encore .50 muzzleloader.

The baby is now 3 1/2 years old and we did have a second that is 1 1/2 years old now. The oldest is a girl and the youngest is a boy. You are correct, Nitro is my lab. He is doing fine. We hunted geese pretty hard this past 6 days and he got bit on the side of his eye, but we had a great time. The kids are looking forward to Christmas. Put the tree up yesterday and I am taking a break right now from putting out the lights on the trees and window sills. Life is great.

How are things going with you guys down there? I remember a rough patch a couple years ago with, I believe, your son and a house fire. I hope everything is going well for you and that you are getting some fun time in.

Sorry to hear about Huckleberry. I am not looking forward to that day with Nitro.

However, I am glad to hear that Becky is pulling through and that the two of them will be getting married shortly.

With this new chatboard software, it is pretty easy to post pics. Underneath the window where you type a response, look for the "Manage Attachments" button. Click on that and it allows you to browse your computer for pics. Only problem after that is making sure the pics aren't too big for the software's limitations.

I would love to see pics of the new GSP's. My sister has a Vizla and he is a ball of energy at 3 years old. Way more energetic than Nitro, except for when Nitro is out hunting.
