Well I was in Aberdeen for a few days chasing pheasants and temp was + 8 for a high while back home it was running high 30's. Glad to be back home lol. If I get any warm weather I am going to Keep it for myself lol
I did send Val some of the Aberdeen temps to get her out of the pool.

Nulle, Are you getting snow with the low temperatures? In southern Wyoming we are cold, but very little snow. That is about normal for this time of year because we normally get the mountain snowpac after the new year starts. Send some our way. We need the water in the spring.

Well the last two days of December and looks like we are going to get some snow. It has been a real open winter so far in the foothills of the mountains. Eastern part of the state has had quite a bit of snow I guess.

We got a little snow but it did get cold. 6 below this morn. 0 as I type . Fed the birdies this AM . Those little suckers are insistent and not afraid of ya when ya got sunflower seeds. Pheasants and deer are eatin up some corn I got from a neighbor. Loaded with pheasants this year Saw the whole deer herd round the house this morning. Nobody got the 12 pointer(Eastern count). Counted 47 deer in the bunch. Had to go back east to the doc right during deer season..darn it. Or the big'un would be in the freezer. The rest of the elk season opens on the 1st of Jan.. Ends the 31st

Deer and snow

The deer are eating all the hay I have for the horse but I still have some black powder tags and about to thin the heard.
