9mm 115gr Help

I do not use 9mm light weight bullets. I need a very specific set of data and I really do not have time to develop the information myself as I am in the middle of a project and the project must get finished and shipped within 30 days. Here is the problem:

I need an accuracy load for a 115gr FMJRN bullet in the 9mm that equals the NATO 112gr velocity of 1263 fps or comes very close. Perhaps a second and just as good answer would be if anyone knows which powder, available on the market, is the equivelent of HPC-26 which is used in the NATO ball ammo at six grains?

I am setting up fixed tactical sights for a combat gun. The sights will have to be cut for a best 115/124 setting at POA/POI.
Thanks,
Ed

Rapier,

Why use 115 gr. FMJRN bullets in a combat gun? I use Unique powder in my 9mm reloads and like a 115 grain JHP for combat.

This project requires only NATO ball ammo be used.

What is the velocity of your 115 JHP load and is it 1263 or close and if it is, is it the 6.2gr of Unique load in the Sierra manual?

This is a Glock so no worries about pressure as the chamber is supported.
Thanks,
Ed

Rapier,

I have not used my chronograph due to snow so I do not know what my 9mm handloads do velocity wise.

As for a "Combat gun" using FMJ ammo, I think combat is not the best use of Ball ammo, regardless of the Geneva Convention.

May not be, but it's a treaty we affixed our signatures years back. In my limited experence with ball vs. jhp in the 1911 .45 acp, I've found at distances over 25 yards ball is more accurate for me. And yes I carry jhps in my 45 acp.
