Leupold VX-II

I am a statistic now. I learned today, I cant use my Leupold anymore. While having it on my AR I was having the dickens of a time doing the focus fight, and I lost.

I just put my Vortex Diamondback on the AR, it has the Bushnell style fast focus, and will test drive it later today or tomorrow.

It is a 3-9x 40mm with a German #1 plex reticle, 1" tube. I really don't know how old it is, I got it when the VX-IIs were a new thing, I will estimate 8 to ten years old.

It is in great shape.

I'll consider any reasonable trade.

A simple trade would suit me.

I just want a scope similar to the Bushnell Elite 3200s and Vortex designed oculars, I can still use them. I guess the short answer is a fast focus design. In the 3-9x area.

My eyes had so much eye strain yesterday I got a headache. My last' hours long' session I used my Elite 3200 and had no problems what so ever. And the same is true with the Vortex, they both have the fast focus. I think the Fullfield IIs have it also.

I would take a lesser brand, but none of the BSA/Tasco/Leapers kind of stuff naturally.

Jon..I just got rid of a 3200..wish I still had it.. I have a couple of VX IIs. Good scopes. Just used a 4x12 on a new acquisition. Let me check with a friend..He is legally blind and may be able to use that reticle.. I'll see if he has a 3200 get in touch gunner@tctwest.net or the gunner@huntchat.com

Jon, appreciate you call the other morning. Price was right but I've been giving some thought to the reticle.......I do not think I can adapt my hunting to it. If Skeet's guy can use it, let him have it. Sorry dude, I just do not think it will work for me.

No problem Dan, the #1 is an acquired taste, took me a while to get used to it.
