9mm headstamp question
Just got done resizing a bunch of 9mm hulls; I usually sweep up everything (hey, if they don't want 'em, I'll take 'em!) when cleaning up at the range. Most of the brass is mine, but I've found a few that aren't with headstamps that I haven't seen before.
They are: * I * C.B.C Also, I have a few marked "C.C.I."....is this the same CCI that makes rimfire ammo? I always thought that that company made Speer ammo in centerfire? Also (along the same lines) I have one headstamp that says "Blazer" on it.....I thought that the blazer line (if this is also CCI/Speer) was aluminum cased, berdan primed, and nonreloadable? This case is brass and has a boxer primer. Can anyone help me identify these cases? On a side note.... Found a WHOLE bunch of foreign made cases, mostly Fiocchi and S&B.

*I* would be Independence ammo. They are fairly inexpensive, and I had only seen them on shelves when I lived back in Indiana. Hope that helps some

I have some range scrounged 9mm brass with the *I* headstamp, and some CBC, too. I've reloaded both - they work fine.

I have soime of the Blazer brass boxer primed 45 auto..The ammo is good and reloads fine. CBC seems to load ok.. I had some 357 that seemed to have swollen a bit more than usual..Maybe just a little softer.. The 45s from CBC all seemed to load fine. I really don't shoot 9mm much and have more brass for the 9 than I will ever shoot..47 pounds of brass. One day I may actually load some of it

Mr. 16 gauge,
The book, "Cartridges of the World" has a section on cartridge headstampos, as I recall. Since both of my recent editions of COTW are lent out, I will have to wait a bit to answer this question of "The Bonus Round!" Adam
