Leupold RX-750 Rangefinder Review
Recently picked up a new rangefinder and thought I would do a review on it. So far I really like it I been using it about 2 months now been shooting a lot getting ready for bow season.
I included a written review this time along with the video review. We recently had a chance to review a rangefinder for Leupold. I was excited to get a chance to review the product because I have always used and trusted Leupold optics when it counts. All of my hunting rifles have Leupold scopes on them. The rangefinder we reviewed was the RX-750 Leupold RX-750 Laser Rangefinder General Specifications Range: 5yds-750yds True Ballistic Range for rifles and bows Armored Housing Fully Multicoated Lenses Magnification: 6x Field of view: 32.0ft @ 100 yards Weight: 7.0oz Eye Relief (mm): 21.0 Dimensions: 4.0" x 2.8" x 1.5" Features True Ballistic Range: This is by far one of the best features of this rangefinder. What true ballistic range does is it provides accurate aiming information matched to the peformance of your rifle or bow. What it does is it provides both rifle and bow hunters the correct range for accurate shooting on an incline or decline. Another great feature is this rangefinder has three different reticle options to choose from. Plus point and two duplex reticles. I like the duplex reticle. This rangefinder also has the ability to range and measure in both yards and meters. Maximum Ranging Performance Reflective: 750yds / 685m Tree: 600yds / 550m Deer: 500yds / 455 These statistics are very accurate. Usually a rangefinder will only range about half of its intended range but the Leupold statisics are very accurate to what the model will range in distances. For example I had an off brand rangefinder that was supposed to range 1000 yds but it would never read anything close to that the max it got was 400yds. Whereas the Leupold model ranges very close to its designed maximum ranging performance. Whether you are a bow hunter or a rifle hunter and you are looking for a quality rangfinder I highly reccomend you check out the Leupold RX-750. I have used a lot of rangefinders over the years and this one is by far the best one I have used from the true ballistic reading to the three reticle choices this is the rangefinder that I will be taking in the woods with me from now on. here is the video review thats on youtube If anyone wants to watch it shows the rangefinder and gives more in depth detail http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMGCH...el_video_title Hope you enjoy. Thanks. |

I have own several range finders. A Bushnell 800 yard, not impressed. An 800 yrd nikon, not impressed. 800 yrds Leupold binos, far better than eather of the others, but still not what I wanted. I now am useing a 1200 Lica, by far better than any of the others, but still not what i want. I have found that most are good for varments to about 1/2 the stated yardage, including the Lica. Since I shoot rifles that shoot falt to over 300 yrds. they don`t do me alot of good. If there is a tree or something large near the target I range it and can range farther that way. The accuracy seem to be about the same with all, it`s just will they get a reading at the range you want to get.
