Back when I was in school, I used to have to be at the hospital early, so I would leave the house around 04:00-04:30. One morning I was taking out the trash (we lived in an apartment) and I chucked the heavy bag into the dumpster and turned to leave....the whole thing started rocking (a bit scary at 4 AM
) and about a dozen stray cats came flying out of that dumpster.....Looking forward to possibly doing some night time coon hunting this fall.....MI has changed the law, so we no longer are required to have a dog to hunt coon at night (we can now use predator calls as well).

I once had a coon getting into my trashcans. So I took the screen from the low bedroom window and waited.....
He arrived about midnite, I slipped outside, lit him up with my 2D Maglite, and popped him in the butt with a paintball. Never seen a coon run so fast...... a black, grey and pink blur! ![]() He never returned.
