Question midrange .44 magnum load?

Does anyone know of a factory loaded mid range .44 magnum load, something along the lines of the old Remington midrange load (240 grain lead SWC at approx. 100 fps)?
Yes, I know I can produce such a handload easily, and yes, I know I can load the gun with .44 specials....but I don't want to go with either of those options.
Thanks in advance.............

Here is a company that a few of my buddies uses since they don't reload. I have chrony them at 1050fps for a 240gr lswc. And the price at this writing is $23.00 for 50.

Mr.16 gauge,

I have not seen Mid-range .44 Magnum loads on the shelf at my local gun shop this Century.

I am curious why you want lower power .44 Magnum loads. I would have suggested buying factory .44 Specials to arrive at the same lower level of performance. For myself, my .44 Magnums see lots of .44 Special loads with a dose of 2400 (Now Above the Book Loads, but below Book loads in previous reloading manuals) and my cast #429244 240 grain SWC.

I am not sure SASS shooters use magnums, but they sure shoot lots of .44 Specials at the club.

Adam

I was thinking about using my M29 to carry concealed while in the woods. I was looking for something that was more "antipersonell" as opposed to "anti grizzly bear", that would be more controllable to shoot....

...and plus, I wanted the cases for reloading; I reload for .44 magnum, but not .44 special.

That's all!

i loaded elmer keiths 310gr cast bullets and 12 grains of something. this was pushed through a 7.5" barrel , not sure id want to squeeze this load out a concelled car gun.

a 240 at 1000 to 1200 would be much tamer.

i just noticed concealed int he woods. even though a human may be encounterd while carrying concealed in the woods i think id still kinda plan on downing more critters then 2 legged gitters

Personally I'd choose something easier to carry concealed than my md. 29 or Ruger SA 44 for what you describe. The .44 mag is a great hunting cartridge and I use it for just that. Anything else I'll go with one of my 1911s, lot easier to carry.
