Been using them for years. I used to sell them in my shooting supply shop.. They are much easier to use now. We put all meats and cheeses in the freezer using it. Some long term veggies too We no longer thtow out any meats

I got in on a deal last winter from the company. I do use it for some meats. I do not like the packaging taking up so much room in the freezer and the fact that it slides all over.
As far as my venison goes I will continue to wrap it in freezer paper because it is easier to controll in storage. I have opened up venison that was pushing 2 years old stored that way that was fine to eat. I package my squash and apples sauce in gallon freezer bags that are stored flat that stay stacked and only take a few minutes to thaw being thin packages. Plus the cost is way less for freezer paper vrs the vac bags. |
