Happy Thanksgiving

To all you good folks that visit this site, have a safe and meaningful Thanksgiving. Enjoy your surplus military arms if you are going out hunting or shooting with them. All the best...

Gil,

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I went to my daughter-in-law's 1,000 acre farm where we had a total of 12 people at the dinner table. Before dinner at 3:00 p.m., we went to the backyard range and kept the tradition of sighting-in deer rifles. About half were former military arms rebuilt as sporters. One was an 8mm with the German proof marks on the receiver and with a 3x-9x scope. The others were Mauser actions with various caliber barrels fitted.
