1966 Chevrolet
My teenage son has been working on his grandpa's '66 Chevrolet 4x4 for the last two years with the goal of taking it deer hunting. A couple weeks ago he got the carbeurator completed and it's up and running. He took it deer hunting and made a couple nice shots with his grandpa's old 16 guage and filled our tags on Saturday. We loaded them up and hauled them home to butcher. It was a big day for him. Me too.

Gotta love it!!!!!
All our pickups that age are nothing but rust buckets with the box falling down around the frame. I am sure your son will cherish that truck. |

Nice job on the truck, and the deer.

His grandpa is 86 years old and lives just down the road from us. He was pretty tickled too. That was his main truck on the farm for many years, I learned how to drive in that truck in my youth out in a farm field. I think this was the first model Chevrolet made in 4 WD and it was pretty big stuff when dad bought it. My boy wants this to be his Sr. picture next year.
