Been an interesting month..back East again.

Had to fly east to see the docs again.. Gettin old goin back there but I do trust them..Docs in Wyoming are good if ya got 4 legs and a tail.....well not really true..but I trust them back in Delaware and Maryland.

Anyway..while there I made a few really good buys..Got a nice Walther ppk in 380. German made... and from the same fellow I bought a really nice Ruger 1 in 243..had a Leupold VX II 3-9 with AO..and another Ruger 77 in 243. Gave the 77 to my Granddaughter. She has a bunch of foxes to get rid of. My daughter is raising 5-600 quail and a couple hundred mallard ducks and the foxes just can't stay away. One already bit the dust. She'll probably get 'em all. Then from another fellow I bought a nice Winchester M-12 deluxe field solid rib in 20 ga. In pretty good condition too. Best buy was a 2007 Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup package deal with a new Armalite AR-10 in 308. Rifle had a new Weaver Grand Slam 3-10 on it too. The truck only had 26,000 miles on it and I had to drive it like I stole it...cause I almost did. Worst thing is..the bad one who lives in the same house with me decided it is HER truck.. Well I guess I won't win that argument..but I AM keeping the rifle. I even bought a case of 308 ammo so I can shoot it up. Darn thing is Heavy though.. Then after gettin home on Tuesday..went to Cabela's and got an as new Rem 1100 Fully Rifled Slug bbl for 82 bucks..Gonna put it on an ols 1100 for a bear gun..Oh well..

When I came throught Pa I was with a couple friends and wasn't even driving. Will be back in Sept and will stop by. The thief who stole the truck wants to go to Roots over near Lancaster. I will need to get more Primers by then too.. Picked up 20 cases last month..They sell quickly...How are you doing with the Blacksmithing endeavour??
