What is in your daypack/BOB?
Just curious what all everybody else carries in their daypack or BOB since I am reinventing mine.

A lot of stuff I don't need. Bowhunting, its scents, a couple of tooters, knife, leatherman, drag rope, tp, facemask cause I'm ugly, gloves, screw in bow holder, and the best is my coffee and a couple of sandwichs.

Lunch and snacks, a stout fixed blade knife, pocket sharpener for said knife, socks and a small survival kit (fire starter, WetFire tinder, mini flashlight, lighter, matches and a small first aid kit) plus the water in the water bladder (its a Camelbak). If I'm out during the fall/winter I'll add a sweatshirt and a few other things I think might come in handy

GOB,
Like the other posters, I carry lunch, a thermos of coffee, my "Lost Kit" that includes a compass, matches, whistle, para cord, orange flagging tape, and first aid items. Adam

I always carry a deck of cards for playing solitaire because even when lost on the moon SOMEBODY will show up and tell me to put the red queen on the black king.....

Seriously though my current bug out rig has my canteen on it, some water treatment supplies, matches, magnesium fire starter, small fishing kit, eating utensils, P51, SOG multitool, boonie, my old dive compass, etc in it. Right now I don't even have a decent knife on the rig since I always have the eyeball of LEOs who think I am a traitor for leaving the department years ago. My knives are all Kabar USMC style that are technically over the legal length. Most LEOs wouldn't care but this group is always looking for an excuse, so I am saving up my amazon freebie points for a Becker BK-2 that IS the legal length. Few other odds and ends on it as I am still getting this kit together.

I decided this thread was useless without pics. These are picks of my work in progress bug out belt setup. Yes that is a fat man belt extender on the belt.
