Military ammo cache
Finding good quality .30-06 US G.I. ammo is getting tougher by the day and is very expensive if you can find it. I needed .30-06 ball ammo for our military rifle matches held every month at our local gun club. A club member came up to me at a recent club meeting and asked when I was going to get my ammo out of his storage room. I did not know what he was talking about and went down to the storage room to investigate. I was amazed to see six G.I. .30 caliber ammo cans full of LC 69 .30-06 ball ammo in M1 Garand clips and bandoleers. It seems this ammo was the overflow from an ammo purchase in the distant past and was forgotten. I now have 1,728 rounds of ammo in 216 like-new M1 Garand clips for our matches. All the best...

Gil..you been holdin your mouth just perfect lately.. Good for you. I went into the local Sheels in Billings today. Bought another Dillon 550 and I got a 250 pack of 45 ball ammo..Remington brand. for a fair price..better'n gun shows anyway. I really don't need it..but have some friends who do not reload?? who can use it.
