Had a blade made for My 1918 Trench knife!

Hello everyone,
Just thought I would post a picture of a 1918 Trench knife I have inherited,
It was just the handle ,the blade was missing from it . The handle was the real deal not reproduction. Was my great uncles when he was in the military.
So I decided to have a blade made for it . I think it turned out nice!

Blade was made from high tempered tool steel and was acid dipped to give it the proper gray military patina. I have to keep a light coating of oil on it.
