Estate Sale of Military Surplus Arms.
My local gun shop made room on the used gun rack for a lot of Estate Sale military surplus arms. I went into the shop last Thursday for the weekly "Tioga County Militia" meeting of a dozen over age 65 duffers and military surplus shooters.
A sign said, "All Prices are Firm." Thus there was no wiggle room. I looked over the bevy of arms and did NOT get "Sticker Shock." NOPE, I merely treasured all the stuff I had already put by at home. Here is the list: -a Winchester M1 Carbine $1,100.00 -a Springfield M1 Garand 2,50x,xxx with a SA rebarrel date of 9/64 $1,000. -a M98k dated 1942 for $500. -All above arms were about NRA GOOD as were other items. The best have long ago disappeared into private collections. Adam

I hate it when that happens
I no longer see decent military surplus arms for sale at reasonable prices. It seems that the overall condition is going down and the prices keep going up. All the best...
