Savage 99 in 300 Savage

Need another deer rifle like a hole in the head, but then again I like the old 99s. This one from 51 in very nice shape, checking still sharp and I like those schnable forends. Great thing is besides the shape it is in, has a Redfield tang receiver sight a 99R. Did have one which was my Dad's woods rifle, but my son adopted it, so now I have mine own. Luckily have lots of brass for the as I had a Rem. 722 in 300 Savage. Sold it to a fellow who collects 721s and 722s.

You did good. Have a 722 in the caliber. Not my cuppa tea but effective nonetheless. I too must have 2-300 pieces of brass.
