Carcano Model 1891TS Carbine

I came across an excellent early Carcano carbine in 6.5mm with adjustable rear sight. A fellow was telling me that a gun shop offered him $50, so I offered him $100. He was thrilled and sold the carbine to me. He even gave me some 6.5 military ammo in clips. The bore is bright and the stock and bluing are excellent. I have not seen one of these early carbines. So this gets added to the collection. All the best...

Gil,

I have several TS Carbines. Do you have a canoe? My TS guns make GREAT Boat Anchors since the bullets all keyhole at 25 yards!

Gil,

I have several 6.5MM Italian Carbines. I tried PRVI ammo and got keyholes at 25 yards. The bores were obviously oversized. The PRVI brass is reloadable and I found Hornady 160 grain RN .268" bullets and reloaded same. The groups were great and the guns shot nearer the sights.
