Three builds that I finished while it was a time out

This is a Remington R1s 1911 I built for the That Others May Live Foundation as a fund raiser. It was sold at $20 per ticket for 600 tickets with a drawing for the winner on July 4th. Raised 12k for the Rescue foundation activities.

The gun has two sets of grips, 5 eight and two seven round magazines all fitted and engraved with the last 3 of the gun. Half inch group at 25 with 3# trigger pull, ambi safety, S&A mag well and a Safari beaver tail grip safety safety, Videki trigger and two piece rod with Novaks front and rear.

Of course I hit the X rather than the back arrow. This is the Ruger SR1911 Commander, their newest handgun. It has a full Wolf spring kit, 3 pound trigger with a match sear, match bushing, two piece rod, Safari beaver tail grip safety, ambi thumb safety, Novaks front and rear, Ergo pebble grips, a set of bone grips for engraving, three 8 round fitted mags and two seven round fitted mags, shoot .5 inches at 25, feeds empty brass. It has been extensively altered inside and out. It is at the engravers right now getting a bit of tasteful bling added. The original is included for comparison, it had a gawd awful trigger by the way.
