Don't pet the moose

Had two ladies walking a dog over by Blackhawk yesterday, ran into a Moose.
One decided she would pet the big furry animal. Both in hospital. Moral to story:
Give them their space...they can have have an attitude! Admire but stay away from wild critters.

Update, one denies wanting to pet the other has no comment...yet. Now both deny the petting..me bad.

Yep son lives in WA state in a subdivision near downtown. This time of year he has moose come into his backyard to graze on his trees. They love the tender tree branch tips. Mostly females with a calf. Visiting with mama would not end well for sure.
