Factory over sized for the early N frame square butt..............duty guns,
to my knowledge, came in the small and large...small allowed lower fingers to wrap around behind trigger guard.....'large' were for some of us smaller fingered critters. Hope I explained it rite................my M19 has what I call the large target grip. Dan Adam, PM sent with -# and SN
