Price Shock

I was at range yesterday morning and came back by a LGS, I was wearing a River rig with my ole M28...(with the combat grips I got from Adam) dude in store approached and offered north of $700 for the rig...not for sale. Holy MOG,
what are these things going for??????
Dan

BTW, open carry is legal in Colorado....just not Denver or Boulder

Dan,

My first law enforcement gun was a 4-inch M-28 S&W that cost me $107.00 in 1970. The prices of old S&W revolvers has gone way up since the newer revolvers come with that lockout "child safe" gizmo.

At the last gun show in March, I saw unbelievable prices asked for Old Colt automatics and old S&W revolvers.

Adam

Prices do vary

I bought a new 4-inch Model 28 Smith & Wesson back in 1968 for $96.00. Still have it. I have told by heirs to never sell anything in my collection, just hold onto it which costs nothing. Good guns appreciate. All the best...
