Good looking dog GSPx2. It has a few more spots than mine, but a very nice looking dog.

Thumbs up

I had a buddy that I duck hunted with who had a GSP. I wondered why the heck he'd get THAT dog for waterfowling, when there are so many other options.
Turns out his girl did just fine on the marshes. In fact, it took to waterfowling like a Labrador, no problems at all. The poor thing sure got mighty cold, though, when the temps dropped and it had to cope with that wet, short hair.
But you couldn't stop the ol' gal from going with my buddy out on the marshes to chase the ducks.
It was a fine dog, even in that application for which the experts probably might recommend another breed.
Real smart, real eager, real friendly, real nice.
Congrats on a very fine, very beautiful animal, GSP!

GSP's for waterfowl

Alot of people don't know that the short hairs is just as good as any "water dog." Infact alot of the German testing for these dogs involves retrieving ducks in water and if they cant do that they dont pass. I am running my dog in some of these hunt test this summer. I also am in the process of opening a kennel so when I get it up and running I will let you guys know so if you want a fine true German dog you can contact me.
Thanks

I just showed this dog in a conformation show and she won 4 first places including best of opposite sex and best of winners. She is well on her way to making a name for her self. I will be hunt testing her in NAVHDA and other conformation shows this year.

I will be testing this dog in NAVHDA natural ability test on the 22nd of this month. I will let you all know how she does. The kennel is up and running I just poured all new runs and fence. I will also be testing my other German dog in some German testing this month I will have to post a picture of him. If you want to know more about the kennel just email me. We specialize in German imports only from the top blood lines.

well she got a score of 101 out of 112 on her NAVHDA natural ability test this weekend. I was very proud of her as she did a good job. I also wanted to brag a bit about one of my other shorthairs that got a prize 1 in the NADKC "German testing" last weekend. If you want to know more about the German system and their testing look at the link I have provided. Tell me what you think of the German system, I really like the traditional testing they offer.
