Wolverine Knife

Last year at Yooper Deer Camp (Michigan UP), we did our "tour" and at one such "pit stop", they had Marbles and Wolverine Knife Works knives for sale. Seems a couple guys broke from Marbles and formed Wolverine Knife Works, and I have to say, they are nice knives -- I ended up taking the drop point, and also one of the new Marble folders. Anybody else using a Wolverine knife? Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Not surprising that they are high quality knives being former Marbles employees. I checked out their web site and they have some impressive looking knives. Prices are not unreasonable either. Good luck with yours!

I'd compare them at or very close to Marbles, though mine's sitting in Michigan and I haven't used it enough to see how long it holds edge and holds up. Workmanship is A-1 though -- you'll have to check them out. If I remember right, the one I bought was $99.

DOM i'll agree they have a very nice blade but in my opinion (only) i feel there a tad bit overpriced for a wood handle like i said only my opinion LOL talk to mike stewart and he'll tell you he taught them youngins everything they now about knife building while at marbles!!! I believe they also have to call them rapid river knifeworks now as the WOLVERINE name was already spoken for????
I was a fan of marbles till they went cheapo on us and started charging big bucks to resharpen there products!!!!
plus the fact they aint nothing but buck and case quality nowadays...
all in all i'll stick with all the yooper made blades gotta luv'em all..
OBA
