Buffalo hunt

I planning on going back in July, 05 for a three week hunt. I'm booking with the same PH I hunted with in RSA and had a great time. Heck, I wasn't even looking for trophies, just a good hunting experience, but still wound up with half of my trophies making Rowland Ward. I had the time of my life and it was more than I could have ever expected. You might give him a email. I'll spent one week after buffalo in Zimbabwe, then back to RSA to finish up on plains game.

Zimbabwe

I hade a really good hunt for buffalo in Zimbabwe and the price was in the reach of a working stiff who had saved his nickels. It was everything that you ever read about buffalo hunting except the charge. My buffalo was shot at 70 yards but the buffalo ran back at us. It stopped at 20 yards with me trying to reload my rifle and my PH was down to one round in his rifle. He ran another 35 yards before dropping. The green score was 105 with 100 being the minimum for SCI. By the way that is a 37.5 inch spread but had real deep hooks. There were a few better bulls but they were younger and we had passed on them.

So those young bulls should be better. If you want more details on the hunt let me know.

To All Interested in Trophy Buffalo,

Please have a look at my web site

www.go-on-safari.com

I have some very big Bulls in the South. A physical hunt, but a very good chance to take 2 big Bulls over 42 inches.

I also have areas for Buffalo where the average is 38 inches, but 40, maybe 42 inches is possible, and not so physical of a hunt.

Thanks.

Best,
Phil
