RUN, dont walk away from this gun.
You will hear mixed reviews on this gun but I had terrible luck with it. For starters it would only feed hardball RN ammo without jamming every round. Hardball dropped the jams down to 1-2 per mag. Not just for a few hundered rounds but for well over 1k. Plenty of time to loosen up.
Also, the Alloy frame was . IMHO, too weak for the gun in .45ACP. The grip screws kept loosening up after 15 -20 rounds and finally stripped out due to all the tightening. Frame had to be re-drilled and tapped to a larger screw...all in the 1st 1K rounds.
I wound up trading it for a SKS that I then traded for a Springfield XD9.....Now THATS a great little gun!

I have had one for a few months and just passed 1500 rounds with no ill effects. It shoots fine for me, with all types of ammo, including handloads. The only feed problem I ever had was with a 10 rd mag (reg mags for the 945 are 8 rds). It was a cheap one and once I tossed it things have been hunky-dory. I really like the way Taurus does the safeties on it. I have been most happy with it.
