Question Pop Up Blinds

Anyone use pup up blinds for turkey hunting?
I bought an Ameristep Doghouse after using my brother in laws during late season muzzleloader hunting for deer.
Just thought I would see if anyone was using one and how they liked it.
I think that it will be real nice especially if the weather isn't the greatest. (light rain, drizzle)

rimshot i have never used one but I am currently bidding for one on ebay. I think I will give it a shot this turkey season. I hope it works to get my son a bird. the reason I am getting it is it is hard to keep a 11 yr old still for any length of time if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I hope to be able to get my wife to go with me. I have a grandson that is 3 but he is several years away yet.

The blinds work nicely for turkey. You might have one everyonce in a while get scared, but's nothing like deer - who don't like them very much.

If you plan to sit in one spot all day, it's what you want.

Rimshot..I use a doghouse blind also...did have trouble with spooking game up till I added a spring stick inside to keep the walls from moving in the breeze....the one I have has the spring circle tention only on 2 sides...this let the other 2 sides relax too much. When I am inside, I just place a stick with a bow in it against the zipper on the relaxed sides pulling them out..it gives me a little more room + if it rains, keeps water from running inside....but is nice to stand up if needed and doesn't take that much sq feet of clear ground space to open....I also stack items like leaves, weeds etc on it to help camo it...you will always have the smart bird or deer though...putting out in the open field, don't know if I would.....I am looking at one now with the spring tensioner on all 4 sides....
