Thumbs up Want to Hunt Deer or Turkey in IL?

I just got a call last night about a nice opportunity for someone who wants a great hunt at an affordable price.

2800 acres of wooded land (That's a lot) for IL. This is in Wayne Co.

The man is offering a tresspass fee. A 178" buck was killed there last year, by the only guy hunting the property. He's offering archery, gun and muzzleloader deer, and turkey, and only allowing so many to hunt it.

If you're interested in the turkey, let me know quick since you need to get your tags in for the draw by Feb 9th. Price for a turkey tag in IL is $125.

I'll be heading down to hunt turkey's for sure this year. You may catch me weaselin' in an archery hunt if I can get it past my wife!

Anyhow I know the guy real well and this is just one of those opportunities that you gotta take when it knocks. For more info email me!!

They are Easterns Nulle and definitly not your typical PA Eastern either. From what I hear this property has never been hunted for turkey and they are over run with them!

Remember we killed 2 birds in 1 day on film last year hunting property with the same story (Never been hunted in 23 years, blah blah blah ).

I think I'll be hunting the 3rd Season (April 15-20).

If you don't mind me asking, what's the fee in TX? I'm looking to hunt a couple more places myself

Well this one outfitter gets $700 and that includes 2 tom Rio Grandes, 3 days + 3 nights for an unguided hunt.
I am looking at the exotic game hunt in 06.
$700 is about the going price with the outfitters in South Dakota Wyoming and Montana corner where I live also.

Hey Petey, lots of turkeys down there. You are going to be in the next county south of where I live. I work with a guy from Wayne county and he sees a lot of birds down there. I live in Clay county and we have a lot of them too. If you get up around Effingham or Flora we might have to meet up.

Bow hunt turkeys - $200 for 2 days.
