Lee collet neck sizer in a progressive?

Is it OK to use a Lee collet NK sizing die in a progressive press? I was thinking it might cause variations in bullet seating depth because the ram won't necessarily stop at the same place every time.

The only way a Lee collet sizeing die will work properly is to have it set so that the lever cams over. I bought one and put it on my 550 Dillon and did get it to working, but never liked it. The die body is to short and you have to turn over the locking nut to get it locked in the tool head. I also never really carried for the lines it leaves on the case necks. It takes alot more presure to size with them also. Some people like them, but I just didn`t care for them at all. I prefer to neck size with the old fasion neck sizeing dies and useing mica in number 9 shot to lube the case necks.

Yes, it does take a lot of pressure, which is hard to get used to.

I was thinking I would adjust the collet die so the press does not cam over since camming over tends to destroy collet dies unless you get it just right, and adjust the bullet seater to seat the bullets a little longer than desired, then run the loaded rounds through a single-stage press to seat the bullets to their final depth.
