Question Making a base?

Well, we're workin on two full body bear mounts and I could use a little assistance. I have no idea how to go about doing the bases for these mounts, they'll be our first full ones.

Any help at all would be great.

Icequeen, I found a website that you might look at that makes bases, but it might give you some ideas on how you want yours. www.blackcreekhunting.com.

Has some really nice looking bases that you guys could probably make yourselves.

Thanks gsp, sure are some nice mounts on there. If ours look half that good they won't look too bad.

Try going to the WASCO supply web site. They sponsor www.taxidermy.net They publish a book on constructing habitat bases. Use quality materials and a little ingenuity and you should be fine. Good hunting, grayghost
