Hello Skinny Shooter,
And a Happy Groundhog Day to you too! The logic of this one escapes me. I look at a calendar, and it indicates Spring is going to be in six weeks whether he sees his shadow or not. I think Punxatawny Phil and his cohorts are spoofing us a little. If friend groundhog wants to see his shadow where I live he's going to have to dig straight up through a hell of a lot of snow and ice to reach the surface. If he's smart he'll stay where he is. I find it amazing that these little critters can even survive our winters, but they do. Best wishes. Cal - Montreal |
