Yugo Model 24/47s

I have a fondness for this rifle that I cannot explain. In any case, I found a dealer who advertised these fine rifles in excellant condition at an attractive price. I rolled the dice and ordered two rifles and they should arrive a local gun shop tomorrow. I can hardly wait. All the best...

Yugo Model 24/47s

I picked up the rifles this evening. The gun shop owner said they were new guns and perfect in every respect. I told him they were the finest Mauser rifles I have ever handled. Glad I ordered them from a decent distributor. All the best...

I've got a 24/52 Yugo. It had never been fired but that Elm stock is one ugly piece of wood.

Model 24/47 stocks

The stocks on the rifles I received appears to be walnut. All the best...

Nephew's first military surplus

My nephew has wanted a '98 Mauser clone for a long time. Today, he picked up a 24/47 that was like new with all matching numbers. He was thrilled and needs to pick up some 8mm Mauser dies, bullets and cases. All the best...

24/47 is a VZ-24 rework

I was cleaning up a 24/47 and noticed that there was some lettering under the Preduceze marking. After some careful viewing it is apparent that it is the Czech inscription for BRNO that was only partially scrubbed off the receiver wall. Wow! I thought the action was really smooth and now know why. All the best...
