Ghillie suit

I know a few of you have made ghillies in the past, and I'd like to try it. I have some camo netting I can get my hands on (don't ask) and was thinking of using that. It's a desert tan color, which is the main background color around here, and I thought with some darker brown and some shades of green it should work out pretty well. What do the ghillie suit makers think?

Wow, that's a lot of info. It's gonna take some time to wade through all that. Thanks for the link.

Tater, here are some other links to check out:

Also check out: http://www.bushrag.com/

I have a kit from ghilliesuits.com and bushrag. Just haven't found the time to build them yet.
When you attach the netting, consider sewing on some loops to the jacket and pants first. You can then ziptie the netting on them.
You could theoretically have several different colored camo for different terrain.

The way they do that is to tie both green and brown into the suit. Just pull the color you don't want into the suit. The color you want is now outside the suit. You can change color anytime you want.
