Look what I found on the way home...
Well I went up to the local Gander Mountain to look at a new scope for my .17hmr and talk with some friends who work there. Well coming home there is a creek I always pass over, the river been flooded the last couple weeks of warm weather, then cold wather. Well I passed and It looked like a dead mink on side of the road by the creek. So I turned around and sure enough it was a huge dead male mink. Fur is perfect so I'll prolly skin him out and save the skull like I do with the few mink I catch. Anyways, thought I'd share this. Makes me happy.

Kind of makes up for the ones that get the best of you during trapping season doesn't it.
I never turn down good fortune (or luck).

Very true. I caught one tiny one on the last day when I pulled my traps when the lakes were starting to freeze. When I worked 1st shift, coming home everyday I always seen a guy trappin the creek. I'm not sure how well he did, you could see his cubbie set from the road. 1st time seein anyone trap that creek. He missed one.
