Talking What a kid!!

I just have to share this with yall.
Needless to say it kinda made my day at the time and also made me miss ALL my GRANDkids too!!!!!!(81/2 at present)
I recently saw an item on the net that told of a teacher that asked her 1st grade students to name the "Four Seasons" She said one kid raised his hand and said......."Pepper, salt, Shake and Bake and Butter". A neat answer BUT, Positive and sure of a "keerect" answer from any of MY GRANDS, I asked my 7 year old Grandson the same question......Can you name the four seasons?....................
Are you ready for this?????????????

He thought for just a minute and answered......................."well, there's Deer season. Elk season.................."
Ha!! He's gonna work out jest fine !!!!

That is my find of answer. If a son of mine answered pepper, salt, shake and bake and butter, I would start crying.

The correct seasons are: groundhog, crow, dove & goose (i.e., the start on the same day), deer bow, deer muzzleloader, duck, pheasant, and deer firearms.

My dad is dying to have some grandkids and he keeps giving me the hint because none of my siblings are even close to having kids.

In Kiddiegarter my daughter was asked how many seasons there were. She said "Five".
The teacher asked her what they were and she replied "Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall and Hunting".
You can tell which kids are raised on venison.

This is the same kid that told my wife she hated rules when she was about 2 years old. (She was an early talker.) She said,
"Rules are like a rolling pin. They just squish me flat!"

At 5 years old she disappeared after an argument with her mother. We found her walking up and down the road next to our rural property with a sign hang from her neck by a string.
"KID FOR SALE"

She's 15 now and pretty cool.
