Question trailer bearing question

Getting ready to replace the bearings on my two trailers for my boats. My question is: what is the best grease to use for bearings on a boat trailer? I've been told to use "marine grease" (whatever that is ), or is regular bearing grease o.k.? Thanks in advance.

When I had a boat and also on my utility trailer we use(d) Lithium grease and Bearing Buddies.

Absolutely. Marine grease is Lithium grease in most cases. Regular axle or bearing grease will break down in water. And yes, even your sealed bearings will leak.
