I am Sorry guys

I am doing pretty good, I have never smoked in the house so staying away from the computer was only because I couldnt sit in this position very long.....not to mention the medication was keeping me more on spell check than anything else....I honestly figured I would be back at the pub by now, but this is one tough surgery.....feel good one day and in bed all day the next....thanks for thinkin of me....sorry I havent kept in better touch....but the doctor said I am doing well and healing great...so I should be stronger than ever this alligator harvest in Sept.....I timed it this way.....even though we bought the winch...those record gators are heavy and my insides probably wouldnt of handled it very good..its hell being a girl........love all of you.....

We all love ya, Val. Just get better - as slowly as you need.

Gators have been around a while. They'll be there when you're ready for 'em.

Heck, it's no fun being a guy with a hernia, either. Took me months to get back into high gear after that, so I understand.

HOLY SMOKE LADY WHAT DID YOU HAVE DONE? YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO QUIT SMOKING THEN YOU JUST DISAPPEAR AND NOW WE FIND OUT ABOUT THE SURGERY.

SHEEESH. I AM AMAZED. IF YOU HAD DONE WHAT I THINK YOU HAD DONE YOU HAVE A LOT OF TRAUMA.

DO WHAT YA FEEL LIKE DOING AND DON'T PUSH YOURSELF. I'M BAD ABOUT THAT, I NEVER FOLLOW DOCTORS ORDERS. PART OF MY HERITAGE, DON'T EVER TELL ME I CAN'T DO SOMETHING. I'LL BUST MY BACKSIDE TO PROVE I CAN.

TAKE IT EASY KID AND KEEP IN TOUCH. YOU'RE A KEEPER.

YOUR IN OUR PRAYERS.

Don't try to do too much, too soon. It takes a while to get over major surgery. My experience was that it took several weeks to function normally, and longer to feel good again.

We hope everything turns out right for you, and that your recovery is speedy.

Hello Val,

No mea culpas necessary. We understand these things are not exactly a walk in the park. There's no great hurry involved. Recuperate at your leisure. Best wishes.

Hey Val, You just worry about taking care of you for now, us and the gators will still be around after you get to feeling better. Although you are sorely missed by many of us we all understand about these things and we know they can't be helped. I too will be going in for surgery come Tuesday and it too was planned to coincide with getting better before the hunting season. Just follow Doc's order and you should be in the pink before season rolls aroung. Take care of your self my friend. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

HEY LADY

GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN. BEING RESTRICTED TO THE HOUSE IS A BUMMER. I HAD TWO BACK SURGERIES IN THE LAST 3 YEARS.

I AM SURE YOU HAVE A THERAPIST BY NOW THAT HAS TOLD YOU HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOU MUSCLES AND GET BACK INTO SHAPE. THEY REALLY DO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. JUST DON'T BE A SMARTY PANTS AND TRY TO OVERDO IT.

AS SOON AS I'M DONE HERE I'M HEADED FOR THE LAKE, OR WHATS LEFT OF IT. RIGHT NOW IT'S DOWN SOME 30 FEET FROM IT'S NORMAL LEVEL. THIS ISN'T YOUR AVERAGE RUN OF THE MILL LAKE EITHER. IT MEASURES SOME 200 MILES LONG AND NORMALLY HAS 2000 MILES OF SHORELINE.

I SURE LIKE MY NEW DOG. HE IS A BLAST. THIS IS OUR FIRST FISHING TRIP SO WE WILL BOTH BE LEARNING. JUST IN CASE, I BOUGHT HIM A LIFE VEST. YES I HAVE SEEN RETRIEVERS AND HUNTING DOGS JUMP INTO THE WATER AND SINK LIKE A ROCK. NOT A PRETTY SIGHT. O9F COURSE THEY ARE USUALLY THE ONE THAT CAN'T FIND A SOUP BONE IN THE BOTTOM OF A GARBAGE CAN ALSO. GET MY DRIFT? I DON'T LIKE TO TAKE CHANCES ANYMORE.

HAVE A GOOD ONE LADY, TALK LATER.
