Woman survives being Tasered by Police

Sheriff's Deputy Shoots Woman

LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) An Arapahoe County sheriff's deputy shot a woman Sunday who was advancing toward officers with a knife and 3- to 4-foot sword, authorities said.

Deputies were called to a home around 6:45 p.m. on a report of a domestic dispute. They forced their way into the home after two women inside refused to open the door, sheriff's officials said.

One woman picked up the knife and sword and refused to drop her weapons as she moved toward officers, authorities said. A deputy shot her after deputies were unable to stun her with a Taser, officials said.

The woman was hospitalized in stable condition, sheriff's officials said. The second woman was treated for minor injuries suffered in the domestic dispute. No names were released.

The shooting was under investigation.

Gee,
Most everyone 'tasered' survives. The alternative is just popping a cap on the perp. Most of those survive too, since the police are very bad shots.

I second that.

When I got my G class security training. I qualified alongside the local L.E.O.'s. They even admit that the only range time they see is when they requalify, once a year.

They are; "the Police".

You know, as in "The Police did this........ all Cops....... why do the Police......... the Police always......."

In other words, generalizing, labeling, lumping all together (stereotyping).
