Magnificent 17

Well today we went out to test a few handloads for the 243. On the way out to where we shoot there was a group of crows along the canal i shot and hit one at about a hundred yards. It was a head shot! grouped the loads and headed back to the house. On the way out there was one way down the levee at a minumum of 200 yards. It was my dads turn so he shot this one i thought surely he would miss but i thought wrong. Tomorrow if he is still there i will measure the shot and get an exact range. I feel that the only thing that made this shot possible was that he held high and the conditions were ideal Because we had the whole swamp to block the breeze. awesome gun.

Thumbs up sure is magnificent

That does sound like some good shooting 243 hunter.I find the wind realy plays with them after 100yds. But on calm days it's hard to beat this little firecracker.I've been shooting crackles in the corn stubble out to 175 yds.You can hear them pop.Just turns them inside out.Gotta love it.
