Nikko Golden Eagle rifle
Can anyone tell me anything about a Nikko Golden Eagle 7000 rifle? Don't know anything about them. They look pretty, kind of like a Weatherby I guess. My buddy wants to sell on in a .243 and neither of us knows anything about it. Thanks

Hunter,
I found some info on the company, but nothing much about their guns. Nikko is a trade name used by Kodensha co. Ltd. of Tochigi Japan and manufactures fire arms for world wide distrubition. It did say that they were the company that make the 101 for Winchester. Nothing one the value of their guns though.

Somewhere in one of my gun rags, there was a question from some guy who had one and needed parts to get it fixed. None were available nor will they be was the answer. Better your friend sells it to a stranger. I hate being that negative about what was a pretty nice rifle, but that's the way it is. I doubt if that's changed any.
