thunder storm

last night we had the worse thunder storm I have ever experienced and I like thunder storms. Lightning was bouncing all around and finally we lost power until today. raining hard as can be. And poor ole Rusty freaked out. i had him in the sunroom with LeeAnn and went to check on him and he was missing. He lunged himself against the door and got it open and he was off and running, really running. That poor dog was trying to outrun that storm. I went in the truck looking for him and was getting into a panic myself when two hours later I still hadnt found him. I would get out and call him then move on. I kept checking back at the house and finally he came running down the street like a thorobred and right past me still getting it up. Well I got him stopped and brought him in the house and needlesas to say he got lots of attention rest of the evening as I sat by the kerosene lantern. I dont know if I should use him duck hunting or lewt him give those greyhounds a run for their money. I dont think they can beat him in a storm.!
